Photo & Video Permission
Sometimes in Scouting, photographs and videos are taken of Beavers / Cubs / Scouts / Explorers / Young Leaders whilst taking part in activities. We use them to share news of our exciting adventures and to seek out support. We might display them in the Scout Centre, use them as part of an article in our local newspaper or put them on our website or social media pages.
All photos and videos will only be used in accordance with the Scouts Association's strict guidelines. Please see for more information. Only people approved by 1st Sid Vale Scout Group will take photos and videos which are then stored within the Group - not with a third party. Except where 1st Sid Vale Scout Group may share some photos and/or with the web developers to upload them to the website (a third party). The group may also use approved third parties to take photos and/or videos.
We never take, store, share or publish photos or videos of any young person (under 18) without the consent of their parent/guardian - via a Photo & Video Permission Form.
